Description

Broomhill is a house dating back to the 16th century or earlier, which has been significantly altered and refronted over the centuries. In the early 19th century, the original timber frame was faced with red brick in a Flemish bond pattern on the ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is tiled, and it features a cruciform brick chimneystack. The house is L-shaped and has two storeys with two windows facing the front elevation. Most of the windows are 20th-century casements. A 20th-century brick and timber-framed porch with a tiled roof has been added.
