Description
This stable building, located 10 yards north of Wrotham Place, dates back to the 17th century. The west front features random rubble stone with some brick on the left, while the right side is timber-framed with brick infill. It has a plain tiled roof and a large brick chimney breast on the right, along with a blocked doorway further to the right. The building is two storeys high, with four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor.
The south front displays exposed timber framing with plaster infill set on a random rubble and brick plinth. The east front is made of red brick with a plinth, which was rebuilt in the 20th century. It has a wide projecting chimney breast with a double stack on the left and brick eaves featuring diagonally inserted bricks. This side also has two windows with casements and two blocked windows to the right, with a 20th-century window inserted above them. The north front is characterized by a crow-stepped gable roof.
