Description

This late 19th-century oast and granary is located on the south side of Bels Farm Road in East Peckham. The building is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. It features a central hoist and gable hood. On the ground floor are two large openings, each with a hood and double doors. The building has segment-headed door and window openings, now fitted with modern casements. Eight red brick oasts are arranged symmetrically around the sides and rear of the granary, each topped with a cowl and vane. The building has been converted into living accommodation.
