Description

Reams Farmhouse is probably 17th century, with the left (west) end likely added later. It originally comprised two houses, formerly one. The construction is framed, with the ground floor underbuilt in brick, and the roof covered in peg tiles. The farmhouse has stacks with brick shafts. The roof is half-hipped at the left end, which has a higher ridge, and gabled at the right end. The front has an asymmetrical arrangement of four windows. An axial brick stack is situated to the left of the centre. There are two front doors towards the centre, with the left-hand door aligned with the axial stack. The interior has not been inspected, and it may contain features of interest that would help refine the dating and reveal more about the building's interior.
