Description
The Old Manor House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the 16th century. The east elevation features exposed vertical timber-framing with plaster infilling on both floors. The south side is constructed of random rubble with tile-hanging above, while the north side is also of random rubble. The building has a steep hipped roof covered with plain tiles, which includes two small gabled dormers and a large, projecting stone chimney on the left with brick stacks. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window facade, featuring modern lattice casements. On the ground floor to the left, there is a projecting square bay window, and the two outer windows on the first floor have inserted flat oriels. To the right of the centre, there is an early 20th-century gable timber-framed porch with a boarded door.
