Description

The boundary wall and lychgate date to around 1880 and serve the Church of St Giles. The boundary wall is constructed of rubble stone and features a steeply pitched ashlar parapet, enclosing the churchyard. The wall runs on either side of the driveway leading up from the road, widening around a circular area in front of the lychgate. The lychgate itself is timber-framed with a plain, double-tiled pitch roof and double gates. A curving wall with an animal stop is located to the west of the church. The structures are listed at group value, recognizing their contribution to the wider setting of the church.
