Description

Hoad Hill Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered in the 19th century. It features a timber frame clad in red and blue brick, with the front's first floor tile-hung. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped, with a ridge stack located to the left of the center. The cottage has a baffle entry plan and stands two storeys high, with a garret (gable-lit attic) above. The front has an irregular three-window arrangement, with three casement windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor to the right. There are two boarded doors to the left, with the right door having a gabled tiled hood. At the rear, there is a catslide outshut.
