Description
This is a row of 18th-century cottages located at 1-5 Church Street. The row has two storeys and an attic, with a total of six windows and six dormers. The cottages are stuccoed with a string course and an eaves cornice, and have a tiled roof that is half-hipped at the north end, where the gable is tile hung. The glazing bars within the windows are intact. Number 5 features a doorway with pilasters and a projecting cornice, while the other doorways are plain. Nos 1 to 11 Church Street are historically linked as a group with an outbuilding opposite The Rose and Crown Tap on High Street.
