Description

The Man of Kent Public House is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that has mostly been refaced with brick. The ground floor is painted, but some of the upright timbers are still visible beneath the paint. The first floor is fronted with weather-boarding, while the east end is tile hung and features a large chimney breast, with the lower section made of painted brick and the upper section cemented. The building has a tile roof and casement windows. It stands two storeys high and has three windows. The Man of Kent Public House, along with Nos 4 to 12 (even), forms a group.
