Description
Number 1 Union Crescent is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a basement. It is constructed of stock brick and features red brick window dressings. The roof is slate and includes dormers. Each elevation has three sash windows, and on the Cecil Street side, these windows are arranged in a three-light curved bow. The other elevation has a central round-headed doorcase with panelled reveals, and there are wrought iron railings leading to a staircase shaped like a mounting block. The area is also enclosed with railings that have urn finials. Number 1 forms a group with Nos 1 and 2 Cecil Street.
