Description

The ha-ha and gates located 50 metres east of Belmont date from the 18th century. The structure features yellow stock brick and wrought iron gates. The ha-ha is four feet deep and extends approximately 200 yards along the east side of Belmont. It includes two sets of wrought iron gates set on hollow iron piers, with side fences that are three feet high and extend about 10 feet on either side of each gate.
