Description
This is a circa 1830 terrace of buildings located on The Broadway in Sheerness. It comprises numbers 1 to 23 (odd), and also includes numbers 1 and 3 Crescent, Mile Town. The terrace is constructed of stock brick with a cement parapet and a moulded eaves cornice. The windows are mainly sashes, with some original glazing bars remaining. Most of the properties have modern shop fronts, however numbers 17 and 19 retain their original shop fronts, each featuring two pilasters and two segmental-headed doorcases. One of these doorcases, at number 17, has been blocked to create a shop window.
