Description

The Clock Tower at Mile Town, Sheerness, was erected in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII. It is a cast iron structure, painted, and takes the form of an octagonal column. The column sits on a plinth and is topped with clock faces and a bell. Decorative quatrefoil mouldings are incorporated into the design.
