Description

Nos 85 and 86 on Abbey Street are 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys high with an attic. They feature a tiled gabled roof and two flat-roofed dormers. The exterior is faced with brick, and the windows have rubbed brick voussoirs, although some glazing bars are missing in the right-hand windows. In the centre, there are round-headed doorways with six-panelled doors set in brick reveals, topped by semi-circular fanlights. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 82 to 92 (consecutive), as well as Nos 94, 95, 98, and 99.
