Description

This is an outhouse attached to the right of No. 3 Cherry Tree Cottages, built around 1845. It features a red brick and timber frame, clad with weatherboarding, and has a plain tiled roof. The building has an irregular shape, fitting into a corner site, and is one storey high with a loft, which includes a gabled dormer on the left side. On the ground floor, there are boarded double cart doors to the left and a ventilation grille to the right. The rear elevation has a three-light iron casement window that matches the arched light pattern of the adjoining cottages, although it is smaller in size. These cottages were not marked on the 1841 map, indicating that the outhouse was likely built shortly after that time.
