Description

Nos 47 to 49 on Tanners Street are 18th-century facades attached to 17th-century buildings, with no 49 standing separately to the north of a small passageway. The structures are two storeys high, with two windows in no 47, one in no 48, and two in no 49. The roofs are tiled. Nos 47 and 48 are constructed of red brick, while no 48 features a weather-boarded gable. All have sash windows with glazing bars and four flush-panelled doors. No 49 is entirely weather-boarded and has casement windows, with 19th-century shop fronts on the ground floor. These buildings, nos 46 to 52, form a group.
