Description

Orchard Thatch is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame and is weather boarded, with a red brick underbuilding in English bond and a thatched roof. The front of the house has three storeys with a plat band, while the top storey is weather boarded. The roof is hipped on the return, with stacks projecting from the right end and the rear left. There is one wood casement window on both the first and second floors, and two on the ground floor, all with segmental heads. The entrance is located in a catslide outshot on the left side of the front.
