Description

Court Lodge Farmhouse is a building of the 16th century with an early 19th-century front. The rear wing dates to the 16th century and is timber framed with exposed framing, built on a flint and painted brick base, and has a plain tiled roof. It follows a lobby entry plan. The wing has two storeys, a continuous jetty on the first floor, and a hipped roof to the left with a stack in the centre right. Two blocked wood mullion windows are exposed, and there is a boarded door in the centre right. The front of the farmhouse is from the early 19th century and is built of painted brick with a corbelled cornice to the hipped roof and stacks at the end right and centre rear. A cast iron verandah with a corrugated roof runs along the front. There are three wood casement windows on the first floor, two on the ground floor, and a central door with six panels, partly glazed and with a pilaster surround.
