Description
Nos 97 and 97A on High Street in Milton Regis are 18th-century buildings consisting of two parallel ranges. They are two storeys high with attics and were originally constructed with grey headers and red brick window dressings, stringcourse, and vertical strips, though they are now covered in painted brick. The buildings have a tiled roof and a wooden eaves cornice. There are three double sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. The doorcase has been altered, and there is a modern shop front. The rear elevation features two triple sash windows. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 65, 67 to 71 (odd), 71A, 73, 73A, 75 to 87 (odd), 87A, 89 to 95 (odd), 99, and 99A.
