Description
Brook Hall is a house dating from the 15th century, with part of its front remodeled in the 18th century. The building features a timber frame, with some sections exposed and others clad in red brick. It has a plain tiled roof and follows a Wealden hall house plan consisting of four framed bays.
The entrance front is two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth and has a roof that is hipped to the right. It includes two gabled dormers and stacks positioned centrally, with additional stacks at both ends. On the first floor, there are three wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has two segmental-headed wooden casements. A boarded door is located in a 20th-century gabled porch to the right.
The rear elevation showcases the framed Wealden front, with end wings that jettied out and feature a flying wall plate supported by arched braces. To the left, there is a two-light hall window, and the remaining windows are irregular wooden casements.
