Description

This barn, located 50 yards southeast of Great Higham Farmhouse, dates back to the 16th century. It features a timber frame that is clad with weatherboard and has a hipped roof covered in corrugated iron. The barn includes a hipped mid-strey and has an interior with three and a half bays and aisles. Notable interior elements include passing shores to the arcade posts, cambered tie beams, a queen post roof, and wind bracing.
