Description

Stapleton is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is timber-framed, with the ground floor rendered and the first floor featuring banded plain tiles and fishscale tiles. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there is a brick stack in the rear slope, slightly off-centre to the right, and another at the left end. The windows are a mix of four late 19th-century casements. A boarded door is set within a 20th-century brick porch located beneath the right-hand stack. The interior has not been inspected.
