Description
Old Chellows is a house dating from the 16th century. It features a timber frame with rendered cladding and a plain tiled roof, which has a small offset stack at the left end and a large triple corbelled stack at the ridge, positioned to the right of center. The building is two storeys high, with three leaded casements on the first floor and two on the ground floor, which are set at different levels. There is a half-glazed door located to the right end, sheltered by a rendered gable porch. The left-hand return front displays exposed framing with whitewashed brick infill. At the rear, the framing is also exposed, featuring a leaded casement dormer and a single-storey wing on the rear right.
