Description

This is a monument to Robert Chapman, who died in 1803, located 1 metre west of the south porch of the Church of St. Michael in Throwley. The monument is made of stone with artificial stone panels. It features a pedestal on a plinth, with engaged and fluted columns at the corners, and an urn at the top. There are also inscriptions commemorating other later individuals from various families.
