Description

Mount Farmhouse is a house dating to the 15th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and rendered, with painted brick and flint at the base. The roof is covered in plain tiles. The house is a hall house with a projecting cross-wing. It has a plinth and the cross wing projects to the left, featuring a hipped roof with gablets and stacks positioned centrally to the right and at the right end. The first floor has three wooden casements, with pierced bargeboards and finialled gablets that break the eaves line. Similarly, the ground floor has three wooden casements, and a 4-panel door is located centrally to the right, sheltered by a gabled hood with pierced bargeboards, a pendant, and a finial.
