Description
Nos. 187, 189, and 191 are a pair of houses with a shop, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of painted brick, with some parts weather boarded, and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, set on a plinth. The two end bays on the right (No. 191) have quoins, while the left end bay is weather boarded on the first floor. The roof is hipped, with chimneys located to the centre left and rear right.
On the first floor, there is one tripartite sash window with a moulded and keyed head on the left, along with four glazing bar sash windows. The shop window on the left is made of plate glass and has a half-glazed door, all beneath a single fascia. To the centre, there is a segmental-headed wooden casement, a segmental bay with glazing bar sashes to the right, and double wooden casements with a boarded door to the right, all covered by a single flat hood. Additionally, there is a boarded door in the centre with its own flat hood, and garage doors at the left end. The buildings are included for their group value.
