Description
Bibury Oast House Cottage is an early 19th-century building that forms part of a small pair attached to No 2 (Old Tiles). The cottage is two storeys high with one window and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof. It is constructed from red brick with a brick plinth and has gauged brick window arches on the ground floor. The cottage has modern casement windows and a half-glazed door beneath a bracketed flat hood. In contrast, No 1 retains its original sash windows with glazing bars set in exposed moulded frames, along with external shutters on the first floor and a modern half-glazed door under a similar bracketed flat hood. Bibury Oast House Cottage is part of a group that includes Tudor Cottage, Carter's Cross, White House, Bibury, Nos 1 to 4, and Bank Cottage, along with Corner Cottage on High Street.
