Description

Alice Dene is a farmhouse dating back to at least 1677, with significant alterations in the early 19th century, circa 1820, and an added wing from the mid-19th century, circa 1850. The exterior is built of yellow brick. It has a slate roof, and features four sash windows with intact glazing bars, along with a one-bay mid-19th century extension to the left. A portico provides access to the porch. Inside, a fireplace from circa 1820 remains, along with mouldings and a staircase characteristic of that period.
