Description

These are a group of four cottages, numbered 14, 16, 18 (Plough Cottages), and 22, forming an L-shaped range dating from the 16th century or earlier. The original timber-frame structure has been refaced with cement render, and the roof is tiled. The cottages are two storeys high, with three casement windows on the south-facing elevation and four casement windows on the east-facing elevation. It is likely that the building was originally part of an inn.
