Description

The Old Mill is an 18th-century corn mill located on the site of an earlier mill in Eynsford Riverside. This mill was originally established to provide bread for communion by the medieval church. The north-west half of the building is constructed on piles over the river. It features two storeys with a weatherboarded exterior and a barrel-shaped roof that is currently covered with corrugated iron. The façade includes three casement windows and a doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets. Additionally, three mill stones are embedded in the path of the front garden.
