Description
The Stables of The Mill House, The Counting House, and Gardeners Cottage is an 18th-century range located on the south-west side of Farningham High Street. It features a tiled roof. At the south-west end is The Counting House, a two-storey cottage with three windows, constructed from flints with red brick window dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The cottage has casement windows, with the ground floor featuring two painted lights. In the center of the range are the former stables and coach-house, which are single-storey and faced with weatherboarding. They include a round-headed doorway and an ogee-headed loft door above it. At the north-east end is Gardeners Cottage, also two storeys and faced with weatherboarding. It has two sashes with intact glazing bars and a doorcase with a flat hood on brackets, leading to a door with six fielded panels.
