Description
The Ruined Gateway on Mill Street is a 14th-century structure that originally served as the south gateway to the College. It is constructed from Kentish ragstone and features a high pointed carriage arch alongside a pedestrian arch to the west. The gateway is flanked by walls on each side, creating a letter "H" shape. This structure was presented to the town in 1915. The Ruined Gateway is part of a group that includes several notable buildings and walls surrounding the Archbishop's Palace, the College, and the Parish Church of All Saints.
