Description
The North Boundary Wall, formerly to Digons, is a boundary wall made of medieval masonry, dating back to the medieval period, with a 19th-century parapet. The wall is constructed from Kentish ragstone rubble and stands about 8 feet high, featuring a brick parapet and an inner face made of brick. To the left, there is an early 19th-century square stone gatepier with a tooled band and a curved cap. The wall includes a medieval two-centred arched opening, which has a top that was restored in cement during the 19th century, along with a 20th-century wooden door. This wall served as the northern boundary for Digons, a house that originated in the 13th century and was demolished in 1964.
