Description

Nos 52 and 54 on Lower Stone Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and are cement rendered. They feature a hipped roof covered with renewed pantiles. The second floor has double sash windows with verticals only, while the first floor has two sash windows with the same vertical design. A string course runs above both the first and second floors. The buildings also have a later shopfront. Nos 26 to 36 (even), 40 to 46 (even), and 50 to 70 (even) form a group with these properties.
