Description

The Fisherman's Arms Public House is a timber-framed building dating from the 18th century, located on Lower Stone Street. It features a plastered front and an overhanging first floor supported by a bressumer. The building has two gables, with an attic storey and a window in the north gable. It stands two storeys high and originally had two sash windows, although the glazing bars are now missing. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 36, 40 to 46, and 50 to 70 on the same street.
