Description

This is a table tomb dating from the mid-18th century, located approximately 4 yards north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Thurnham. It is constructed of stone and features a stone base with a chamfered plinth and lid, as well as incised side panels. The north side of the tomb commemorates Richard Watts, who was an Alderman of Rochester and died in 1739.
