Description

The pig styes, likely built in the mid 19th century by C.J. Richardson, are located about 4 metres east of another structure at East Sutton Park. They are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and feature a plain tile roof. The building is a long single-storey range divided into two sections, with gables that have kneelers and moulded brick coping. The north wall has ten recessed glazing-bar sash windows. To the west, there is a brick wall that curves into a rectangular brick gate-pier, which serves as the northern gateway to the outer yard east of the main stock yard.
