Description

The Store and Garden Tools Building at Maidstone Prison was constructed between 1809 and 1811 by Daniel Alexander. This three-storey building is made of Kentish ragstone and features a total of eight windows. It has a moulded stone cornice above the third floor and a stringcourse that runs from the ground to the first floor. The ground floor is distinguished by round-headed arcading. This building is part of a group of listed buildings at Maidstone Prison.
