Description
North Lodge is a lodge that has been converted into a house, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is finished in stucco and features a slate roof with a cross plan. The building is single storey and has pedimented gable ends on the north, east, and west sides. There is a panelled stuccoed stack located to the south of the centre. The windows are regularly arranged, with one recessed 8-pane sash window on each side wing, and three narrow round-headed lights on the north gable, which are linked by moulded imposts and a hoodmould. The door is located in a 20th-century single-storey rear extension. North Lodge formerly served Linton Park and was previously part of the Loose civil parish.
