Description

This is a folly located at the west end of North Walk in Linton Park, Kent, dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and rendered with channelled stucco, topped with a slate roof. The building is small, rectangular, and designed in a Gothick style, featuring a single storey. Each gable has moulded coping, and there are moulded pointed-arched doorways at both gable ends, which have clustered shafts on the jambs. The east face has three similar doorways that are stepped in height, while the west face is unbroken. Slender pinnacled pilaster buttresses are present at each corner and flanking the central opening on the east side.
