Description

This barn, located about 70 metres east-south-east of Coldbridge Farmhouse, dates from the 16th century or earlier, with some 19th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding, set on a 19th-century brick plinth, and has a hipped plain tile roof. The barn includes central double doors and has a single-storey weatherboarded cow shed extending from the left end. Inside, there are five timber-framed bays supported by jowled posts. The structure includes four plain crown posts, each with a single curved foot brace and one or two braces connecting to the collar purlin.
