Description

The Star and Garter Cottage dates from the 18th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of red brick, with a tiled roof. A cornice runs along the eaves, incorporating brick nogging. The cottage has four later casement windows. S braces are visible, and a doorcase is topped by a flat hood supported on brackets.
