Description

62 and 64 Ware Street is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is plain tiled, with a half-hipped design on the left side and gabled on the right. There is a central brick stack located on the rear slope of the roof. The building features irregular fenestration with two 2-light casements. The entrance for No. 64 has a 20th-century door with an inset fanlight set in a boarded porch that has a plain tiled roof, while No. 62 has a plain door in a half-glazed porch. At the rear, there is a parallel range built in the late 18th and 19th centuries, which is also two storeys tall but has a lower roof.
