Description

Chapel Lane Farmhouse is a house, now used as a farmhouse, dating to the 15th or early 16th century. It is timber-framed and rendered, with a plain tiled roof. The building stands on a plinth, and the roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped with a gablet to the right. A multiple brick stack rises from the front slope of the roof towards the left, and a slender projecting stack is located on the right gable. The windows are irregularly placed, with three three-light casements. A boarded door is situated slightly off-centre to the left and is sheltered by a plain-tiled lean-to canopy with carved brackets. There is a lean-to addition at the left end.
