Description

The cottage located to the north-west of Bydews Place is a possible timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, with the ground floor constructed of red brick and the first floor cement rendered. The roof is tiled and features a tile-hung half-hipped gable. The attic storeys have modern casement windows, while the first floor has two sash windows. The ground floor includes one casement window and a doorcase on the left side. This cottage is part of a group that includes Bydews Place, a dovecote in its grounds, Bydews Farmhouse, a former granary to the south-west of Bydews Farmhouse, and an oasthouse located to the south-west of the former granary.
