Description

The Bull Inn is a public house located on Tonbridge Road in Barming. It dates from the 18th century and has had some later additions. The building features a ground floor made of painted brick and a rendered first floor, topped with a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high with a garret on a painted plinth and has a half-hipped roof. There are rear stacks on both the left and right sides, and a small central dormer. The front facade has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are 12-pane sashes with horns. Towards the center, there are three half-glazed doors under a continuous flat bracketed hood. There are single-storey painted brick additions on both the right and left sides, along with a rear lean-to. At the back, there is a short central two-storey tile-hung wing with a hipped roof. The interior has only been partly inspected, but it features chamfered axial beams on the ground floor.
