Description

Daye House is an 18th-century house located on South Street in Barming. The building features a ground floor made of painted brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is rendered. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, all set on a painted stone plinth. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a central stack at the rear. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, each with two-light wooden casements and top lights. The central entrance consists of a boarded door with a two-light fanlight above it, sheltered by a flat bracketed hood. At the back, there is a lean-to constructed with the same materials. The interior has not been inspected.
