Description

The wall monument to Elizabeth Meredith is located on the east side of the north chapel of the Church of St. Nicholas. This monument dates from the early 18th century and is made of stone. It has a narrow design but features thick stone. The monument includes a projecting moulded base with two plain rounded brackets underneath. Above this is a beaded tablet that is topped with a moulded triangular pediment. The monument commemorates Elizabeth, the fourth daughter of Sir Richard Meredith, Baronet, who died in 1728.
