Description

This is a table tomb dating from the early 18th century, located approximately 3 yards north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Thurnham. The tomb is constructed of stone on a stone base, featuring a heavily chamfered plinth and lid. It has decorative recessed end panels, with the west end dedicated to Catherine Watts, who died in 1723.
