Description
The Old House is a building that originally comprised three houses, now combined into one. It features an 18th-century exterior with mathematical tiles covering most of the front elevation, while the right end is constructed of brick. The gable ends are rendered, and the building has a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high with a hipped roof. The ridge stack is off-centre to the left, with a projecting stack at the right end and two truncated projecting stacks at the left end—one for the main block and one for the lean-to.
There are five 2-light casement windows, with two located to the left of the stack and three to the right. A half-glazed door is positioned towards the left end, while the main entrance is now located in the rear lean-to at the right end. The building has two short rear wings, one at the right end and another adjacent and parallel to it towards the centre, both rendered and topped with plain tile roofs. The right wing has a gabled roof, while the central wing features a hipped roof. Additionally, there is a single-storey rear lean-to parallel to the main block, situated between the left end and the central wing. A single-storey brick lean-to, dating from the 19th or 20th century, is positioned at right angles to the main block along the right side elevation of the right rear wing.
